I’ve found a bunch of free printables via pinterest the past month. Heaps of tags for Christmas, thank you cards and most recently calendars. I’m always amazed at people giving away their work for free and it’s good stuff too. Here’s a couple of my favourite calendars:

I don’t have quite enough decent quality card on hand to print this one but I’ll be printing an owl one out for the hallway when I do:

Some new earrings which I made over the holidays.

The ACEO in the background is by Jen Lewis of JayHell and it’s right above my desk to keep me on track. I’ve also put up some artwork by Jen Collins of HelloJenuine which also seemed appropriate. Although Less Skyrim More Make would be even more accurate….

Octascope

I bought this at my local charity shop last week. It was under the glass counter and the packaging caught my eye as I paid for my books.

It fragments the image through the viewfinder and it feels like you’re looking through a kaleidoscope but there are no moving parts. Pretty clever. I tried to take a picture through the tiny viewhole but gave up irritated so you’ll just have to take my word for it.

Also in the glass cabinet was a box Tennents Lager coasters decorated with some of the lovely ladies who used to feature on the side of their cans. I ummed and ahhed over them for a bit before leaving without them. If they’re still there on my next visit I might just buy them for my dad. He had a brief spell of collecting the cans before my mum nipped it in the bud.
