Free printables on pinterest

I’ve found a bunch of free printables via pinterest the past month. Heaps of tags for Christmas, thank you cards and most recently calendars. I’m always amazed at people giving away their work for free and it’s good stuff too. Here’s a couple of my favourite calendars:

I don’t have quite enough decent quality card on hand to print this one but I’ll be printing an owl one out for the hallway when I do:

What’s in my bag?

Deborah over on Champignons blogged this week about a new series of posts she’ll be doing every Wednesday titled What’s in my….

This week it was the contents of her bag and never being one to miss jumping on a bandwagon as it passes, I’ve decided to do one too.

The cream tote bag at the top is my usual bag. It was a present from my friend Catherine.

Contents:

  1. Another tote bag (black). Handy for impromptu charity shop book purchases.
  2. Handcream
  3. Glasses case
  4. Two packets of mattifying papers
  5. Small hairbrush
  6. Goodies chew bar. Used for bribing Iris into good behaviour at the supermarket.
  7. House keys
  8. Small mirror wot I made
  9. Crumpled Tesco receipt
  10. Two packets of wipes. They look suspiciously like feminine hygiene wipes but I can assure you they are boring old face/hand wipes.
  11. Box of Milky sweeties brought back from Tokyo by friend Rachael
  12. Anti-bacterial hand gel
  13. Two packets of hankies
  14. Elderly tube of Bonjela
  15. Iris’ scarf. Another present from Rachael, it’s made by WildCat Designs
  16. Carmex cherry lip balm
  17. L’Occitane Desert Rose hand cream. Magazine freebie.
  18. Two packets of paracetamol
  19. Umbrella
  20. Prescription bag
  21. Sunglasses case. Ever the optimist.
  22. Robot clutch purse by PipDesigns on Folksy
  23. Grey gloves
  24. Changing stuff for Iris

Thrifty Thursday

Another charity shop find ……

There was no coffee pot and there’s only five cups but I really liked the design and the price was right so I bought them. It’s made by Sadler but there’s no pattern name. If anyone has any ideas let me know. I’m keeping my eye on ebay for a matching coffee pot.
